Please join us at the American Cancer Society’s “Toast to Hope” virtual gala for the Central Coast chapter—proudly presented by Agilent Technologies! This year, we invite you to host a gathering at your home with family and friends—and unite with other parties virtually on Zoom as we toast our survivors, honor lost friends, and raise vital money to support cancer patients, caregivers, doctors and researchers.
During this event, you will discover remarkable wines during our Sommelier-guided tasting. You’ll also hear inspirational stories from local survivors and caregivers, enjoy live musical entertainment, and take part in our silent auction to win some exciting experiences and gifts!
The whole afternoon will be a heartfelt celebration of our ongoing fight against cancer. But, we can’t do it without you! So, please join us n our Toast to Hope! It all happens Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 3pm – 5pm.
Sommelier Peggy Dean & her wine-savvy husband Brian will guide you through an advanced tasting experience during our fun Gala. They’ll showcase fabulous wines from Napa and Sonoma, handcrafted with fruit from sustainable & organic vineyards. After you register with ACS, purchase your wine flight separately. Then, we’ll ship three full-sized bottles of wine directly to your home—and together we’ll learn to taste like a pro!

With your support, the American Cancer Society is saving lives. We help people get well and stay well as well as enhance treatments and fight for a cure. ACS is the largest private, not-for-profit funder of cancer research in the U.S. We’ve invested more than $4.6 billion since 1946, and with our help more than 1.5 million lives have been saved in the US since year 2000. Now, that’s a reason to celebrate!
Locally, in 2019, we provided over 300 free rides and 33 free overnight accommodations for patients receiving cancer treatment. Also, over 400 hospital referrals and 300 residents were provided with specialized services such as free wigs, cancer info and additional free resources in our community.
